Bianka Steinfeldt, originally from Austria, started taking ballet and movement classes when she was 6 years old. She danced for the cities of Bregenz, Dornbirn and Vienna. Following injuries caused from gymnastics, skiing, and dancing, Bianka turned to Pilates to rehabilitate her body. Her experience has shown that “movement heals.”
She is PAX Kamaryt KEG and Power Pilates certified for yoga and Pilates mat. After moving to the US, Bianka discovered Power Pilates—using the classical Pilates method with a flow. She received her beginner mat, intermediate mat and full equipment certification. Not stopping there, she went on in May 2012 to start a 2-year Master Mentor Program with Lolita San Miguel and finished with success. Then she traveled to Monchengladbach, Germany, the hometown of Joseph Pilates.
She is always seeking out a new challenge, which allows her to be on the cutting edge and enables her to be creative and innovative as she shares her extensive knowledge and passion for Pilates with her clients. Bianka is also interested in bodywork and got the Jump Board M.A.T. as well as Reiki Level 2 in 2011. If she is not teaching in Florida, you can find her teaching on the Holistic Holiday at Sea cruise, where she has shared her knowledge for 7 years. She is also traveling to Europe to lead a workshop, and from there her next stop is England.

Classes, Workshops and Private Consultations for the 2017 Cruise
Class: Pilates Level 1
Incorporating the fundamentals of Pilates, this class follows the classical beginner mat order, created by Joseph Pilates, and is appropriate for all students. We stick to his system—why mess with the best, it has been around for over 88 years!
We all know that any real program designed to make a serious change must go straight to the core! This mat Pilates class will teach you the fundamental Pilates work, using your body weight for resistance, as well as the classical language used in this style of Pilates. Your body alignments will improve, thus enhancing breathing, circulation, flexibility, balance, muscle tone, energy and mental concentration.
Pilates also helps with recovery and prevention of injuries. Letting your mind and body connect with every breath and move.
Class: Restorative Pilates
In this class you will identify movement patterns that can contribute to pain and learn new movement patterns that aim to correct muscle imbalances, which may be triggering the pain. A Restorative Pilates full body mat class takes a therapeutic approach to the issues of chronic muscular tension, myofascial pain and stiffness. It is specifically designed to improve balance and flexibility, as well as to assist in rehabilitation from injury or surgery. This class is gentle and offers modifications, while still continuing to strengthen the deep core muscles. We will be using a specific combination of myofascial stretches and exercises known as the ELDOA method, created by world renowned osteopath Guy Voyer, MD, DO.
See you at the mat.
Class: Pilates – In Balance
In this class you will learn more about the proper technique of each exercise and myofascial stretching. Learn how the breath can take you into another level of energy and how just turning the hand or foot can change the whole move into deeper or more distal muscle groups.
Myofascial stretching focuses on the fascia which is the thin sheath that covers all the muscles and organs of the body.
Class: Beginner Yoga - Opening Your 7 Chakras with Movement and Meditation
I recently attended an Osho meditation camp and fell in love with what is possible if you open your mind and allow change to happen. If you are ready to let change happen and are interested in learning more about the chakra system, then this is your practice of yoga. Through the lens of these energetic centers, you will learn to balance your physical, emotional and spiritual body. This class will weave poses together that focus on opening and balancing each of your chakras along with a meditation, while offering modifications suitable for all levels. All chakras lie deep within, rather than on the surface of the body. The following “map” is used to indicate their approximate locations:
- Base Chakra: the sex center, lower pelvis
- Sacral Chakra: just below the navel
- Solar Plexus Chakra: above the navel, below the breastbone
- Heart Chakra: the middle of the chest
- Throat Chakra: the throat
- Third Eye Chakra: between the eyebrows
- Crown Chakra: top of the head
Class: Intermediate Yoga - Flow with Your Breath through Vinyasa Movement and Meditation
Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word meaning "synchronized breath and movement." In this class we will synchronize the movement of our body with the rhythm of our breath and music. Based on the devotion and discovery of Sun Salutations, each standing or seated posture flows into the next, linked together with a series of movements like a dance (plank, low plank, upward facing dog, downward facing dog). We will end with a meditation and breathing practice. Be ready to feel revitalized, refreshed and restored – with enhanced emotional and spiritual awareness - as you leave the class and embark on your next journey.
Workshop: Diaphragm and Breathing
The diaphragm is arguably the most important muscle with respect to maintaining our health - yet, do you know where it is? In this workshop you will have some fun finding your diaphragm, learning how it works to keep you breathing and how it affects the rest of your body. We will explore it as well as our lungs with some exercises.

Reiki Treatments - $75/ person, 55-60 min.
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word ‘rei’ which means universal life and ‘ki’ which means Energy. If one’s ‘life force energy’ is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress; if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results.
