Dunja Gulin

Dunja Gulin is a Croatian-based cooking teacher and author of The Vegan Pantry, The Vegan Baker, Fermented Foods and Falafel Forever, among others. She has completed Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s Certificate Program in Plant-based Nutrition and has been part of the Holistic Holiday at Sea kitchen team for the past five years.

Dunja’s work has been featured in Bon Appétit Magazine, The Times, The Times Weekend, Vegetarian Living, Fabulous Food Summer Special, Marie Claire and the West Country Food Lover Magazine. She hosts cooking workshops and prepares delicious and nourishing plant-based meals for yoga retreats on the beautiful Adriatic coast.

Boot Camp Cooking Class: Falafel Forever! $150/person, 2 hrs. 30 min.
Falafel is deliciously crave-worthy and satisfying as well as nutritious - a great plant-based comfort food! Apart from the traditional chickpea recipes, there are many other tasty and healthy ingredients we can use to create falafels that are fried, baked, dehydrated or even raw. In this boot camp class I will share with you my tips for creating different types of falafels packed with healthy ingredients, as well as important prep-work and frying tricks. We’ll whip up some sauces and dips, too, to perfectly complement our patties. Looking forward to cooking with you!
