Michael Brown, founder of MDB Consulting Engineers, is a pioneer in the fields of climate change, recycling and renewable energy. He participated in the development of environmental projects totaling over $3 billion on five continents.

He began his plant-based lifestyle in 1968 developing, owning and operating three vegan/vegetarian restaurants in California and Mexico. He is a founding Board Member of the Vegetarian Educational Institute (VEI), which runs the annual vegan summer camp at Pinecrest Lake, California.

Michael is a licensed mechanical engineer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
