Lectures and Consultations for the 2014 Cruise
Keynote: Finding Ultra: Rejecting Middle Age, Becoming One of the World's Fittest Men, and Discovering Myself
As a youth, Rich Roll was poised for greatness. But alcohol took it all away. By the time he was 31, Rich was verging on homelessness – hoping to die, but unable to live. A moment of clarity saved his life. But during the rebuilding decade that followed, he overlooked one crucial aspect of his life – health and fitness. Fifty pounds overweight, depressed & fearing a heart attack on the eve of his 40th birthday, he experienced a second moment of clarity, and decided to make a change.
Beginning with the adoption of a 100% plant-based lifestyle, Rich proceeded to set in motion a chain reaction of life transformative events that is nothing short of astounding. Not content with just getting fit but pushing the limits of human endurance, Rich went on to achieve unimaginable athletic feats that culminated in Men’s Fitness Magazine lauding Rich as one of the “25 Fittest Men in the World.”
Recounting the gripping and intimate details of this story, you will touch his pain, feel his joy, cry and laugh and leave deeply inspired.
