Learn to Cook Healthy Vegetarian Recipes

One of the main draws of the annual Holistic Holiday at Sea Vegetarian Vacation is the extensive lineup of vegetarian cooking classes. These live cooking demonstrations allow guests to watch first-hand as well-known chefs and cookbook authors create healthy vegetarian recipes. The cooking class schedule includes many cooking classes taught by vegetarian chefs. Past classes have included Christina Pirello, Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Mark Hanna, Jessica Porter, Colleen Patrick-Goudreau and Eric Lechasseur. These classes cover healthy recipes from a variety of food styles, and a number of vegetarian diets including vegan and macrobiotics recipes. Cooking class guests will be able to take home handouts from each class with the healthy vegetarian recipes featured in the class, as well as other similar recipes.

Healthy Vegetarian Recipes, Three Meals a Day!

In addition to the vegetarian cooking class schedule, guests will be treated to three vegetarian meals a day, each featuring several healthy recipes crafted by executive chef Mark Hanna. Dine in the company of nearly one thousand other holistic cruise guests in the spacious and luxurious cruise dining room. During the week the menu is constantly changing to allow guests to experience a wide variety of healthy vegetarian and vegan recipes.

Take More Healthy Recipes Home

The cooking classes provide a good start for guests interested in taking some recipes home; however, for those wanting more, the cruise provides a full bookstore. In the bookstore guests will find cookbooks from all of the cooking class teachers, each featuring dozens or even hundreds of healthy vegetarian recipes. In addition, the holistic cruise director, Sandy Pukel, and cruise chef Mark Hanna have co-authored a cookbook, titled Green and Grains on the Deep Blue Sea, which features many of the healthy recipes featured onboard the cruise. In all there are literally thousands of healthy vegetarian recipes to take home from your healthy cruise vacation.
