Vegan Travel Aboard a Healthy Caribbean Cruise
For many vegans, travel can be something of a challenge. Without access to a healthy supermarket and a kitchen, it can be difficult to maintain a vegan diet while traveling. These challenges make it difficult for vegans to enjoy structured travel programs, such as cruises.
To meet the needs of the vegan travel community, A Taste of Health has developed an educational vegan cruise program. Aboard our vegan cruise, guests will experience three vegan meals each day and have the opportunity to attend over 120 classes, workshops and lectures covering a variety of holistic health activities including many classes covering issues of interest to vegan travelers.

Classes and Lectures for Vegan Travelers
The majority of the 120 classes and lectures offered aboard the cruise are of interest to a vegan audience. Here are a few of the other topics offered: macrobiotics, yoga and Pilates, integrative medicine, massage, meditation, and various other holistic topics. There are a number of lectures of specific interest to vegan guests. Lecturers for 2010 include: Dr. Neal Barnard of PCRM, Dr. T Colin Campbell, Marilu Henner, Christina Pirello, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. Ronald Peters and many more...
Dr. Neal Barnard
Dr. Neal Barnard is one of the primary lecturers. He is the founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and an active lobbyist for the vegan cause. Dr. Neal Barnard helped to create the new four food groups, a vegan food pyramid. On board the cruise, Dr. Barnard teaches several lectures on the health benefits of the vegan diet. During the 2008 cruise he offered a fascinating look at the government funding of unhealthy eating habits in the United States. Each year he adds new lectures and updates his repeat lectures to include the newest research and medical findings.
